The Granddaughters of Modern Yoga Invite You to Their
200-Hour Teacher Training and Immersion | January - October 2025
The Beginning: Becoming the Granddaughters of Modern Yoga
Ginger and Elle are the granddaughters of modern yoga, carrying forward the legacies of B.K.S. Iyengar and Pattabhi Jois, who trained under Sri Krishnamacharya, the father of modern yoga.
Elle's practice stems from Jois' Ashtanga lineage, incorporating Vinyasa Flow through her mentors, including Seane Corn and David Swenson. Meanwhile, Ginger blends Iyengar's precision, learned from Judith Hanson Lasater, with the compassionate approach of Kripalu Yoga. Both continue to evolve these foundational teachings, embodying the next generation of modern yoga.
The Present: Launching the 200 Hour Teacher Training and Immersion
Inspired by their deep-rooted connection to the teachings of modern yoga's pioneers, Elle and Ginger were driven to create a 200-hour teacher training and immersion program.
Their shared vision was to blend the dynamic, creative flow of Ashtanga and Vinyasa with the alignment-focused, restorative aspects of Iyengar and Kripalu. Through this program, they aim to pass down the wisdom of their lineages while fostering a new generation of teachers who can adapt and evolve yoga’s timeless principles for the modern world. This is a Yoga Alliance Certified 200hr Yoga Teacher Training and Immersion program.
