Meet Ginger Solomon

Meet Ginger Solomon, an Ayurvedic Practitioner, board certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor and renowned yoga teacher based in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

In 2008, during a particularly stressful time in her life, Ginger turned to yoga as a way to quiet the relentless swirl of thoughts in her mind, even if for only that hour. It was here that Ginger discovered the importance of linking her breath and movement together—the cornerstone of yoga which translated, literally means “to join.” This experience led Ginger to complete her 200 hr RYT yoga teacher training program in early 2012, ultimately leading to the creation of Blossom Yoga studio.

Ginger's journey stands as a testament to her unwavering commitment to holistic well-being. Equipped with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Anatomy and Physiology, both earned from The Pennsylvania State University, Ginger’s unique fusion of her scientific background with her passion for yoga propelled her to evolve Blossom Yoga into a comprehensive wellness haven, embracing the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda alongside yoga.

In May of 2022, she completed an intensive 20-month, 650-hour training program as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor at the prestigious Kripalu School of Ayurveda. Her dedication and commitment led her to successfully pass the NAMA board exam in August of the same year, expanding her expertise in Ayurvedic practices. In October of 2024, Ginger completed an additional 2 years of private study as an Advanced Ayurvedic Practitioner with Dr. Anusha Sehgal (BAMS) of Boston Ayurveda.

Today, Ginger is widely known for her yoga expertise and holistic approach to improved health and well-being in today’s fast paced world. Ginger’s passion for wellness shines through her 1:1 health counseling sessions, teacher training programs, yoga practices and educational workshops with Blossom Ayurveda and Yoga.

Ginger resides in Washington Crossing, PA with her husband Ben and their blended family including three grown children and their many pets. When she’s not sharing her wisdom through teaching or counseling, you can find Ginger tending to her garden or sailing in the Chesapeake Bay.

It has truly made a difference in how I perceive and practice my food intake and lifestyle choices.  Ayurvedic principles and practice can offer an excellent compliment to your yoga routine.
